Bhatia Gluten Free began with someone very close to our hearts—our MOM.

She can not eat gluten at all. For her, avoiding gluten is not a lifestyle choice or a preference. Even sharing utensils with gluten-containing food is not an option.

As a family, we experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find gluten-free food that you can truly feel comfortable eating.

 

There were three problems we kept running into:

1. There simply wasn’t enough choice.
   We wanted more than the same limited gluten-free options that seemed to be available everywhere.
2. Gluten-free products were often expensive.
   Eating safely shouldn’t mean having to compromise your budget every time you want something special.
3. We missed traditional foods and flavors.
   We wanted gluten-free versions of the foods we grew up enjoying—foods that felt familiar, comforting, and genuinely delicious.

Most importantly, we found ourselves asking a bigger question:

How much can we really trust a product simply because it says “gluten-free” on the package?

That question stayed with us.

 

So We Decided to Make Our Own

We started Bhatia Gluten Free with a simple idea:

No one should have to feel limited, left out, or uncertain about their food just because they can not eat gluten.

We wanted to only provide the kinds of products our own family was looking for—traditional, flavorful foods made with care and created specifically for people who need to avoid gluten.

 

Mom-Approved. Lab-Tested.

Our mom is still at the heart of what we do.

She tastes and approves the products we make. Her experience is the reason we started this business, and her standards continue to influence the products we create.

But family approval isn’t where our process ends. We also have our products tested by Element laboratory for gluten. Only after we review the testing results, we list the tested batches for sale.

We don’t ask you to simply take our word for it.

Our finished products are independently tested for gluten by Element Materials Technology, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory using recognized gluten testing methods. We review the laboratory results for each tested batch, and only after the batch meets our testing standard, we list it for sale on our website.
